Hatton Haven sits on a quiet residential stretch between Highway 101 and the Pacific, with some of the most pristine, least-crowded tide pools on the Oregon coast just steps away. Seals are a regular sight on the rocks and in the water most mornings.
Newport and Waldport are a short drive for restaurants and bakeries, and Seal Rock itself has a handful of local artist studios and craft shops worth a stop. Miles of sandy beach run south toward Alsea Bay — plenty of room for clamming, crabbing, and beachcombing for agates and driftwood.
